Finance Vacancy

A Finance Business Partner is sought to join our business during an exciting phase of the company’s growth.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be part of a newly created team that provides a financial business partnering service, supporting the commercial team with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running rather than someone for whom this would be a developmental role. There is scope to shape the role and to establish new reporting processes, so this will offer a challenge even for someone with a good depth and breadth of experience.

In addition to proven financial business partnering experience, the post holder will need excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to impact the business positively.

Brief overview

  • Business partnering with a range of financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Development of a small team of analysts
  • Analysing and preparing financial and non-financial reports to drive decision making
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Managing project work alongside regular reporting tasks, including participation in cross-functional projects

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (or QBE) with +2yrs experience in a similar role (subject matter expert)
  • Highly IT literate with excellent analytical skills and experience in managing projects
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with an ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Drive to problem solve, implement process improvements and deal with conflict management
  • Astute attention to detail and accuracy whilst working under pressure and to deadlines
